Get Involved in Campus Sustainability: Events & Clubs

At Westfield State University, sustainability is a core value, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Whether it's attending an event, joining a club, or participating in national initiatives, you can make a positive impact on campus and beyond. Below, you'll find upcoming sustainability-related events, as well as information on student clubs and national groups dedicated to climate action and environmental advocacy.

Annual Events
  • Sustainability Club Thrift Store Events
    • When: Annually in spring and fall semesters
    • The Sustainability Club organizes thrift store events to promote sustainable shopping and reduce waste on campus.
  • Earth Day Events
    • When: Annually on April 22
    • Celebrations, activities, and awareness campaigns hosted on campus to mark Earth Day.
  • Tree Planting Events
    • When: Annually, spring semester
    • As a designated Tree-Friendly Campus (Arbor Day Foundation), planting takes to celebrate the many ways trees benefit our campus.
