Aaron Reyes

Biography

Professor Reyes joined the Department in the fall of 2010. His academic interests include the study and use of isotopic systems in nature and how these can be used to apply temporal and spatial constraints to surface and ground water reservoirs. Currently, Reyes is collaborating in the application of Strontium isotopes for tracking sediment sourcing to coral reefs in southern Puerto Rico with scientists from the Pacific Coastal & Marine Science Center (a subdivision of the Department of the Interior United States Geological Survey). His undergraduate research focuses on water quality monitoring of the Westfield River and some of its tributaries.
