Interested in Pursuing a Career in Education?

Westfield State’s education programs, offered by the Education Department, are among the most popular at the university. Our skilled faculty offer a combination of both online and in-person evening classes to best meet the needs of our diverse students. We offer programs for students looking to begin and advance their teaching career.

Our course offerings allow students to be flexible and set their own pace for earning their degree.

Our Education Programs/Coursework

At the graduate level, master’s degrees have been especially designed for new and experienced teachers. Licensure at the initial level is a prerequisite for entry into many programs in the graduate program group. For teachers with professional licensure, the Master of Education concentration programs offer an opportunity to enhance established skills and interests and to experiment with areas of study related to the professional license.
