The Education minor complements a wide range of majors, including Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, and more. This flexible program allows students to engage in education-focused coursework, whether they are exploring new academic interests or enhancing their primary field of study.

Students in the Education minor gain a deeper understanding of teaching, learning, and the role of schools in society. The minor requires 18 credits and offers a thoughtfully structured selection of courses that let students focus on a particular area of interest within education—such as early childhood, elementary, or secondary education. Students collaborate with advisors to create a personalized course plan that aligns with their academic and career goals. Please note that Education majors are not eligible for the Education minor.
