Class Field Trips!!!!! If you are interested in chaperoning on
any of the field trips please contact me through the email
found on my about me page! Dates and permission slips will
be sent home with students when the dates have been
finalized for all the trips.

September -This school field trip will be to learn
about the process of fruits growing. We will embark to the
apple orchard to learn from a farmer! Students will even
get too see some farm animals and, experience what farming
is truly like.

October -Students will go to Concord/Lexington to
see the place where the Revolutionary War took place. Trip
includes tour guide through historic museum in concord as
well as, other places of battle in the area.

November -All fourth grade students will go to see
a fabulous play at the theater. We will read the play Hamilton
and, discuss the historical aspects. The play will be a
good way to move on to a time period after the
Revolutionary War.

December -Winter break will be quickly
approaching! So, December will consist of a field trip to
the Museum of Science in Boston! This field trip will be
fun for everyone as we will get to explore what the museum
has to offer. Students will be given a tour and then go
off in groups, with chaperones, to explore together.

January
-This month has my favorite field trip. As a grade we will
go explore the aquarium in Boston. The aquarium is very
exciting and, we will learn and see all sorts of creatures.
The aquarium even has a touch tank where you can touch a
sting ray! |
February -February will consist of a field trip to
see what the daily life of a police officer is like.
Students will get to see what a police cruiser looks like
and, the whole police station. Police officers will give a
tour and explain what they actually do daily. After, the
students will get the same tour from the fire department!
It will be a great field trip for the kids to see what
both police and fireman do on a daily basis.

March -Nice weather is right around the corner!
So, this will be our last indoor field trip. Students will
get a tour of the town library. This will be great for
students to see how the library works and, all the
resources the library has to offer. Students will even be
given the opportunity to sign up for the library card if
they do not already have one.

April -Finally back outside! A field trip to the
zoo. Students will be taken on a tour by a zoo guide and,
get to see how they feed and take care of the animals.
This field trip is very neat with all the animals out and,
students getting to explore what zoo keepers actually do.
Parents love this field trip so, if you are interested in
chaperoning do not hesitate to contact me!

May -May consists of a field trip to Fenway
Park. Students will get a tour of the stadium and, get
information from people that work there. Students will be
able to see all the jobs it takes to run a ball park. The
tour will include a history of the baseball park as well
as, a chance to look inside the Green Monster!

June
-For the end of the year all fourth grade students will go
to Canobie Lake Park! This is to celebrate doing great on
MCAS and, finishing fourth grade. It will be a great fun
filled day for the students to have a great time to
celebrate. |
