Anna Rokicki
Associate Professor of Mathematics

Biography

Dr. Anna Rokicki has been a member of the faculty at Westfield State University since 2005, where she is dedicated to creating engaging, active, and meaningful learning experiences for her students. Her teaching is grounded in the belief that mathematics is best learned through curiosity, exploration, and discovery. She incorporates open-inquiry approaches throughout her mathematics courses, encouraging students to ask questions, investigate ideas, make connections, and develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. She believes that this kind of learning not only strengthens mathematical thinking but also makes the experience of learning and teaching more rewarding and joyful. She teaches a broad range of undergraduate and graduate courses in both mathematics and mathematics education.
