Our Diverse Communities.
The area surrounding Westfield state hosts a myriad of communities. There is a powerful African American community in Springfield and Holyoke and a vibrant Latino/a community in both cities as well. Here on this page we try and link you to neighborhood and community organizations throughout the area some that target specific populations and some that are for everyone. Linked here as well is information on other community resources for working peoples or folks wishing to connect to a number of types of community organizations. This data is still under construction—if you have suggestions contact our webmaster.
This is by no means a comprehensive list—throughout the valley there are a multitude of ethnic communities. This page will provide you with links to information on these communities---cultural, spiritual, recreational and entertainment. We are continually building this database and we welcome suggestions or additions that will add to the resources.
