Hi, friends and family of room 20, my name is Ms. Soto and I am your teacher this year! In room 20 our second-grade students will all learn so much about each other. Since we will be spending a lot of time together this year, there are some things that I think you should know about me. 

    I have recently graduated from Westfield State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. There are so many things that I love to do, teaching being one of them. I also love to sing and listen to music, this will be something used during this year. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my two sisters and my goddaughter (the baby in the picture), playing games, exploring outside, and just hanging out. On rainy days I love to cuddle up with a fluffy blanket and a nice book. One thing to note about me is that I love the outdoors! This year we will explore our environment and all the ways we can take care of our earth.

    Something that I find to be important in my class is the use of technology. There are so many benefits such as helping guide students with their education and the learning process. Many schools are now using technology as one of the main ways to teach students. Although, technology will not be the only form of teaching I will use it will be something that we as  a class use often and learn how to navigate.
