The next location was built around 1680 and it is the oldest remaining structure in downtown Boston.
The site was bought in 1770 by a man at the age of 35.
From this location, that same man made his famous ride on April 18, 1775, to deliver the message that the British were coming. Today, it serves as a museum and historic site.
