Congratulations!

You've made it to Paul Revere's House!

Next stop is the oldest Church building in Boston. On April 18, 1775, Robert Newman, the Old North Sexton, climbed the steeple and held two lanterns as a signal from Paul Revere. The lanterns were a warning that the British militia were marching to Lexington and Concord to arrest Samuel Adams and John Hancock and they planned to seize the Colonial store of ammunition. This event started the American Revolution.
