compact
As land draws nearer, men on the ship began writing the Mayflower Compact. The Compact was an agreement signed by all the men on board promising to follow the laws that would be created and agreed upon by all the men.
Your little brother asks your parents what things from your old home in England you were allowed to bring, what was your parents response?
a) "We brought only the necessitys: some basic furniture, basic but important tools and equipment and enough clothes and daily items to survive."
b) "We didn't leave anything behind. That way we have everything to ready for our new home."
c) "We were unable to take anything. We only were allowed to bring one pair of extra clothing and enough food for our family."
