Hi everyone!  My name is Mr. Popielarczyk.  This is my fourth year teaching at Alan Elementary School.  I graduated from Westfield State University with a degree in Special Education and a degree in Liberal Arts.  My concentration was in psychology.  I love to teach!  I have always wanted to be a teacher since I was in grade school myself.  I also love to play and watch basketball in my free time.  I am a dog lover!  I have two dogs named Proton and Electron.  Other hobbies of mine include running, hiking, and collecting rocks.  I look forward to a great semester!  If parents or students have any questions or comments, feel free to email me any time!
	Hello everyone! My name is Miss Avezzie.  I have a Master's degree in elementary education  from Westfield State University. I have been teaching for the past ten years, four of which have been spent here at Alan Elementary With Miss Frydryk and Mr. Popielarczyk.   I live in Massachusetts and have a dog named Kiki and a cat named Bubbles.   I always wanted to be a teacher ever since i was a teenager teaching children to swim. I also have nieces and nephews rhat i adore and teach as well. Teaching is my passion and I love working with children. I will always make sure my student succeed no matter what it takes!
	Hi there!  My name is Miss Frydryk and I have been a first grade teacher at Alan Elementary School for the past four years co-teaching with Mr. Popielarczyk and Miss Avezzie.  I am a graduate of Westfield State University with my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education with a concentration in reading.  I previously worked as a preschool teacher for 5 years before I moved into our 1st grade classroom.  My favorite things to do in the classroom are arts and crafts projects, as well as music and story time.  I love to spend time with my family, especially my mother, a veteran teacher, who gives great advice and ideas to help spice up things in our classroom!  I love to travel and hope to explore and volunteer all over the world with the people I love.  My favorite animals have always been pigs, and I finally have been able to get my own pet teacup pig named Violet, she is so sweet and snuggly!  I am very excited to have a fun-filled school year with our first graders and can't wait to get started, if you have any questions please email me any time.
