From worksheets to games to online resources needed in the classroom, this website provides an excellent starting spot when creating and planing lessons. Scholastic for Teachers: Scholastic provides an extensive website with many topic ideas to cover in the classsroom as well as lesson plan outlines. Not to mention the books scholastic offers for the classroom and financial oppurtunities book sales can bring! Always a plus! Discovery Education: This website provides ideas for lesson plans as well as resources! Organized by grade and subject, sample lessons are quick and easy to find. The Teachers Corner: This website provides helpful information on ways to create a well organized classroom and how to effectively use your space. A must read when moving around or setting up your class! Teachers: This website provides sample lesson plans for all grades and subjects. It also has teacher chat rooms and job postings in your area! Library of Congress: An excellent place to find primary sources! Especially useful for this social studies lessons! National Geographic for Teachers: A great website to get ideas for science lessons! This website also provides resources on given topics. |
