Educational games for children. Our favorite games are "Coconut Vowels," "Dolphin Feed," and "Word Invasion."



New England Aquarium
This is the perfect place to go on school break!
The website also has info about conservation and animal research.




Teachercreated.com
This site has games, decorations, and books created by teachers for teachers. Most things are not free, but they are affordable and many are based on the common core standards.





Science Kids.org
This site has many fact lists, educational games, and science experiments. It's a great place to start to find a subject you are interested in.




Magic Wings Butterfly Museum
This is a great place to go during winter break when this kids need some spring!
The website has info for other places to go in the area.




Freereading.com
This site has tons of reading resource activities. You can search activities based on reading objectives, upload your own activities to share, and download picture cards and word lists.



Kids.nationalgeographic.com
This site has games, pictures, videos, news and animals. All of it is kid-friendly and super fun!



Mindware Toys
This site for educational toys includes many award winners.
My favorites are Qwirkle and KEVA Contraptions.




edHelper.com
edHelper is perfect for quick worksheets, especially holiday sheets for morning work. There are printable short stories with matching comprehension worksheets. There are puzzle makers, lessons sorted by grade, and posters and charts to hang around the room. It does have a subscription fee, but it is very affordable for the 2-year time period it covers.


Wonderopolis
It's exactly what it sounds like. Kids can go here to talk about the things they wonder about! This site can answer your questions and give you information you've never thought to ask about!


JumpStart.com
This site has many educational games plus resources for students, teachers, and parents.
The free worksheets and games are great for summer learning to help keep your child's brain in school-mode.




abcteach.com
ABCteach.com has printable worksheets for every subject. There is a section for worksheets based directly off the common core standards. There are many free downloads, but there i an option to pay for subscription to access SO many more awesome materials.



Spatulatta.com
Something all kids should know how to do is cook. But this isn't something we teach in elementary school! This site has basic skills that kids can do in the kitchen, and simple recipes.



PBSparents.org
This site has everything from party planning tips, to healthy eating.
The "Adventures in Learning" page is particularly helpful for at-home educational activities.

This site has free worksheets and ebooks along with teaching notes to help you form a lesson plan around them. There are also links to its parent site, Learning A-Z, and all its other resources that are not free.

This site is great if you're interested in art! There's tons of coloring pages, crafts, and games!

Go to this site for homework help in English, Science, Social Studies, World Languages, and lots of extra help in Math.
There's other resources including motivating your child and puzzle making activities.

Laura Candler's website features some free worksheets, strategies, and tons of inexpensive books and tools to buy. The free worksheets on this site are more in depth and useful than most others on the internet.

This site is great for general parenting advice. There are birthday party ideas, recipes, and child behavioral help. There's even articles just for moms and just for dads!

I chose this site when I was searching for free educational songs and I was having difficulty finding free music. After looking further, I found that this site is LOADED with worksheets, flashcards, links for purchasing teaching tools, videos, and free downloadable activities.
