Discover the President's Innovation Fund

The President’s Innovation Fund is inviting proposals from faculty, staff, and students that will increase student engagement and accessibility by creating or supporting programs and practices that accelerate innovation at Westfield State University. 

Application period for AY '24-'25 now closed. Awards will be announced May 31st, 2024.

Spring 2024 "Maker Tuesdays" Workshop Series - Success!

Students, faculty & staff collaborated in the RIDE Center throughout the Spring 2024 semester to unleash their creativity and learned how to use various equipment simultaneously!

Spring 2024 Nonprofit Innovators Forum - A Night of Networking & Panel Discussion

The Nonprofit Innovators Forum, a free nonprofit conference on Monday, April 29th from 5:30-8:00 pm at Westfield State University, served as an opportunity for guests to unlock their potential within the Nonprofit sector.

The event was held in Parenzo and the Dever Auditorium, where the Masters of Public Administration, Policy, and Civic Engagement Program joined for the dynamic program full of guest speakers.

"Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset" Workshop

RIDE Executive Director Dr. Lamis Jarvinen discussed the fundamentals of cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset with students & faculty.

Engaging in the Community

JUNIOR DISCOVER DAYS @ WESTFIELD STATE UNIVERSITY 

Junior Discover is a program run by the Westfield State University Office of Admissions in an effort to give high school 11th Graders a day in the life of a WSU Owl!  Part of their day involved coming to the RIDE Center to do an activity: creating a working nebulizer out of a foot bike pump!
