Save the Date for HOMECOMING 2018
Homecoming 2018 (along with Family Day) is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 20. Start the day with our Reunion Brunch, the Alumni Association Awards presentation and lots of fun with your classmates in the Father John Dean Dining Hall. After that, the day is filled with campus events, including art exhibits, musical celebrations, and theatrical events. If athletics are your thing, join us for beverages and delicious tailgate food as we watch the Owls versus Framingham State on the football field. Or join us under the big top for beverages, music, and conversation with classmates. Following the game, head downtown to continue the celebration at one of Westfield’s local venues. Reserve your room today at the Holiday Inn Express, Westfield, with the special Westfield State rate, breakfast, and newly decorated rooms. We hope you will join us for the biggest weekend of the year!
Reunions are Bigger and Better in 2018
This year, as the classes ending in ‘3’ and ‘8’ celebrate milestones, the Office of Alumni Relations scoured yearbooks and contacted over 75 class officers to encourage their help to create the largest, most exciting reunion events to date. With their assistance, we are planning reunion gatherings at our Homecoming Brunch, under the big top and throughout the weekend of Oct. 19–21. If you are interested in helping us plan your return to campus to reconnect with your classmates, visit your faculty and delight in the ways the campus has grown, please contact Kathi Bradford at (413) 572-5404 or kbradford@westfield.ma.edu. We look forward to seeing you back on campus!
50th Anniversary Celebration of Urban Education Program
Working with a committee of alumni, Urban Education, and the Office of Alumni Relations, we are excited for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Westfield State’s Urban Education Program on November 17. More details will follow.
