The Westfield State University Foundation Inc. held its fourth annual Pathways to Excellence event on May 5.
The Foundation’s premier fundraiser was held in the newly named Dr. Nettie M. Stevens Science and Innovation Center, showcased student research and creative work, and celebrated Westfield State’s dedicated faculty and notable alumni. It also highlighted the stories of students who have benefited from scholarships made possible by Foundation funds. The efforts of co-chairs James and Kristin Hagan and George and Yolanda Flevotomos resulted in proceeds that pushed the four-year total of funds raised through this event over $1 million. Funds are used to support scholarships, internships, and other student success initiatives.
