A virtual town hall meeting was held June 9 to provide the campus community with an update on the Parenzo Hall renovation project.
Representatives from Miller Dyer Spears architectural firm and the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance led the June 9 discussion, followed by a question and answer period.
Significant progress has been made over the last year to finalize design and continue construction planning. The Parenzo Working Group, as well as student success, academic, and CoLab working groups, have been engaged in finalizing key details of the project.
The renovation project is currently in the design documentation phase, and project planners are preparing for early package contract bidding. Construction manager Daniel O’Connell’s Sons Inc. is progressing toward a groundbreaking ceremony this summer, with the project completion expected in summer 2023.
