Many people have inquired as to ways they may express their appreciation for all that Dr. Saigo has done for our campus community in his short time here at Westfield State. It is in that spirit that we share the information on the generous endowment fund he and his wife Barbara have established with the Westfield State Foundation.
The Roy and Barbara Saigo Endowment for Faculty and Staff Excellence
Interim president, Roy Hirofumi Saigo, Ph.D., and wife Barbara Woodworth Saigo, Ph.D., have established the Roy and Barbara Saigo Endowment for Faculty, Librarian and Staff Excellence at Westfield State University. Out of a desire to help faculty and staff members in their ongoing professional development, the fund has been established to encourage and assist faculty and staff with scholarly and creative activities, including professional presentations, performances, exhibitions, research, and creative endeavors and publications.
