Dr. Christine von Renesse

The New England Consortium for Inquiry-Based Learning in Mathematics was awarded a $15,000 grant from TPSEMath (Transforming Post-Secondary Education in Mathematics) to pilot a regional Faculty Fellowship and Coaching Program.

Westfield State Professor of Mathematics Christine von Renesse, Ph.D., and Associate Professor of Mathematics Volker Ecke, Ph.D., are members of the NE-IBLM leadership team, along with faculty colleagues from Holyoke Community College, Central Connecticut State University, and Fitchburg State University.

NE-IBLM is a regional community of faculty supporting each other’s practice of teaching with inquiry through collaborative initiatives and events. NE-IBLM is a key partner in the Network of IBL Communities (iblcommunities.org), supported through the National Science Foundation (NSF).
