Professor of English Sophia Sarigianides, Ph.D., recently had a book published, which she co-authored with Carlin Borsheim-Black. Letting Go of Literary Whiteness: Antiracist Literature Instruction for White Students, was published by Teachers College, Columbia University in 2019.
The book addresses the issue of how to teach about racism, using literature, in White schools.
