The University hosted its annual Homecoming/Family Weekend Sept. 27 & 28.
Alumni and families enjoyed beautiful weather for a variety of events, including the Henry Wefing Memorial Golf Tournament and a Student Theatre Association Production of one-act shows on Friday.
Saturday’s events included a “HarvestFest” on the Campus Green with family-friendly activities, a miniature golf course, a chainsaw carver, student performances, a petting zoo and food trucks.
The women’s and men’s soccer teams posted home victories, while the football team lost to Mass Maritime Academy.
The Homecoming alumni tent featured trivia, a Nestor Wing Off Contest, and American barbecue.
The 40th anniversary of the University’s Learning Disabilities Program was celebrated, including a speaking program that featured Massachusetts State Rep. John Velis and a read proclamation signed by Massachusetts State Sen. Donald Humason, Jr.
Saturday evening concluded with “A Night with the Legends,” a singing impersonators event with Elvis, Neil Diamond, Cher, and Lady Gaga.
