Some 150 students were recognized at the University’s annual Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony, held April 23.
One hundred nineteen academic excellence awards were given to top achievers among 23 fields of study.
Commonwealth Honors Scholars and University Honors Scholars were also recognized. Students earn Commonwealth Honors Scholar recognition when they complete a minimum of four Honors courses with a B or higher, maintain a 3.3 overall cumulative average, and complete a six-credit, individually designed Senior Honors Project.
This year’s Commonwealth Honors Scholars are Sean Bacon, Christian Biseinere, Nicholas Cox, Amanda D’Aprix, Marcus DiBacco, Steven Ferrara, Emily Hadley, Kaitlyn Hester, David Kennedy, Shauna Legsdin, Ashley Linnehan, Meagan Llewellyn, Christine Luongo, Sarah Morgan, Kathleen Morris, Jarrod Petersen, Lauren Stornelli, and Cameron Swan.
