Azanda Seymour, director of the University’s Urban Education Program (UEP), and Joan Fuller, emerita director of UEP, will receive an award from the African American Female Professors Award Association recognizing the 50th anniversary of the UEP at Westfield State as well as the collective leadership of two history-shaping African American women in education.
The award will be presented at the 2nd annual celebration to honor African-American Female Faculty in Western Mass on Thursday, September 27 at American International College.
