The faculty-student project in the Department of Movement Science, Sports and Leisure Studies generated an internationally viewed platform presentation and a published abstract during the summer.
Assistant Professor Paul Cacolice, Ph.D., led the research project and provided the platform presentation via a virtual format in July. Brianna Starkey ’19 was involved in multiple steps of the project along with Assistant Professor Paul Higgins, D.P.T.
The published abstract, entitled “Research Dominance Definitions May Not Identify Higher Risk Limb for Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury,” was released in July in a supplement to the Journal of Athletic Training.
