Recent graduate earns national award for lighting design

Madeleine Hebert ’20 is the recipient of The National Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival/Barbizon Award for Excellence in Lighting Design for her design of the Westfield State Theatre Arts Program’s production of The Tempest.

The award includes a $1,000 cash prize and a professional development residency at a to-be-determined professional theatre. James McNamara, associate professor of lighting and sound design, proudly shared the news.
