Online presentation to help adapt to uncertain times – April 16

To help students cope as the United States fights COVID-19, a one-hour remote interactive presentation, “Improvise into the Unknown: Techniques for Adapting to Uncertain Times with More Ease & Joy” will be held Thursday, April 16 at 2:30 p.m.

Pam Victory, president of Happier Valley Comedy, will use wise-cracking stories and the wisdom of improv tenets to provide tools to help individuals reframe challenges, redefine failure, reduce anxiety, and quiet the internal voices of fear and self-judgment during in these uncertain times.

Hosted by the WSU Economics & Management Department, Victory will use the Zoom videoconference platform to lead the session participants through solo and group interactive discussions to deepen and individualize learning through laughter. This professional and personal growth presentation is designed to support the resilience, flexibility, and creativity of teams, budding entrepreneurs, and anyone whose world has been shaken up by the current health situation.
