The Owls softball team donated 4,358 lbs. of goods to Savers in West Springfield Feb. 1, as a result of its third annual “Pitch-In” Clothing Drive.
Team members collected goods generously donated by the campus community throughout the week, then loaded a truck and delivered the donations to Savers Thrift Superstore, a for-profit global thrift retailer with 300 locations in the U.S., Canada, and Australia.
