Vice President for Administration and Finance Steve Taksar led a budget dialogue session on Nov. 8, during which he shared with faculty, staff and students the impact of enrollment and retention on the budget.
More than 100 attended the meeting, where VP Taksar and other cabinet members answered questions about the budget and strategies moving forward to address a budget shortfall this year.
A follow-up session will be held Friday, Nov. 22 at 10 a.m. in the Owl’s Nest in Ely Campus Center. This will be a working session to further engage the campus in developing practical solutions for the future to enhance revenues, manage expenses, and improve the resource allocation process.
