The University’s nursing majors have been volunteering in western Mass., in an effort to assist those in need.
Earlier this month a group of students attended an “Operation Stand Down” event organized by Veterans Outreach Centers of Mass Inc. Nearly 400 veterans attended the event and WSU students participated in foot care with 76 of them.
In addition, University students are also helping to administer approximately 500 vaccines to help stop the spread of influenza.
