The University will host its annual Homecoming and Family Weekend Sept. 27-29.
Tickets are $15 for adults, free for current students, $8 for children (ages 3-12) and free for children 2 and younger.
The all-day event on Saturday involves games, music, theatrical events, art, and delicious tailgate food. The Owls will host Mass. Maritime Academy on the football field at 2 p.m.
Event highlights: Friday, September 27
12 p.m. – Henry Wefing Memorial Golf Tournament, Tekoa Country Club
8 p.m. – Student Theatre Association Production, An Evening of One Acts, Black Box Theatre, Ely Campus Center
Saturday, September 28
11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – “Harvest Fest” on the Campus Green with activities, miniature golf course, chainsaw carver, student performances, petting zoo, and food trucks.
1 – 6:30 p.m. – “Homecoming Alumni Tent”- cash bar, trivia, Nestor Wing Off Contest, American BBQ, beer and wine, and an after-hours event at the Hanger in Westfield – Woodward Center
2 p.m.
WSU Football vs. Mass Maritime Academy – Alumni Field
5:30 – 10 p.m. – “A Night with the Legends” (additional cost), Singing Impersonators Event with Elvis, Neil Diamond, Lady Gaga and Cher, Woodward Center.
