The University with host its sixth annual Pathways to Excellence event on Thursday, May 9 at 5:30 p.m. at University Hall.
In honor of the City of Westfield’s 350th anniversary, the event will celebrate the “Westfield” in Westfield State.
Building on past Pathway’s successes, the many intersecting paths of Westfield State and the Westfield community will be highlighted, along with the wonderful works of University students from various departments and student organizations.
Guests will witness the impressive knowledge, poise and passion of Westfield State students, enjoy an exciting evening, “dinner-by-the-bite,” research presentations and displays, musical interludes, and short theatrical performances.
Proceeds from this year’s Pathways to Excellence event will support student internships, initiatives and the newly established Westfield Pride Scholarship, to be awarded to the student with the highest grade point average from each of the City of Westfield’s three secondary schools who will be attending Westfield State in the fall.
