Nearly 200 students inducted to national leadership society

One hundred ninety-eight students were inducted to the newly established campus chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at a ceremony held April 12.

The individuals were selected for this honor based on their academic standing, earning a minimum GPA of 2.75 and leadership potential.

In addition to this distinction, the NSLS provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills. Upon completion, members receive a leadership certificate and join top student leaders nationwide.

Westfield State joins more than 660 institutions nationwide to host an NSLS chapter. In addition to the recognition, NSLS members have exclusive access to scholarships and awards, a job bank, success coaches, and social events, among other opportunities.
