Last week, the first round of candidates for the open Vice President for Student Affairs position were interviewed at the neutral site of Bradley International Airport in Connecticut. Seven candidates met with the search committee on Feb. 26 and Feb. 28. Following this stage of the process, up to four candidates will be invited to visit campus in late March for a number of small group interviews and open forums.
“Last week’s interviews provided the committee with a better feel for the depth of expertise and leadership styles of our promising slate of diverse candidates,” said Search Committee Chair and Vice President for Institutional Advancement Dr. Erica Broman.
According to Dr. Broman, the committee will now work to select the leading candidates to bring forward to the campus community for further evaluation before a final decision is made.
