Each year since 2001, University has honored students who have gone above and beyond in their advocacy for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues.
The Bazemore, Edwards, and Warner Award was named after three Westfield State students: Mary Bazemore; Lisa Edwards; and Matty Warner. It is given to students who have shown outstanding leadership in the advancement of LGBTQI+ issues.
Students, staff, and faculty may nominate a student. CGCE students are eligible, but graduate students will be held to a higher standard. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 8.
