The University’s Ferst Interfaith Center hosted its first Interfaith Campus Ministry Summit on October 24, where religious officials from across the state gathered to share ideas and promote campus ministry and inclusive efforts.
Guest speakers included Springfield Bishop Mitchell Rosanski, D.D.; Rabbi Emeritus Mark Dov Shapiro of Springfield’s Sinai Temple; Imam Wissam Abdel Baki, Ph.D., of the Islamic Society of Western Mass.; Rev. David Calhoun, the District Superintendent of Western Mass./Conn. and The Right Reverend Dr. Douglas J. Fisher, Episcopal Bishop of Western Mass.
