Much work continues on the Strategic Plan, specifically refining metrics to help the University measure the plan’s progress and shape the academic direction that will serve as a cornerstone component. The Board of Trustees received the Touchpoint II report from the Department of Education for Strategic Plan in August. Activity in September included workshop meetings with deans, department chairs and faculty to clarify academic direction and a progress meeting with the Advisory Committee on Strategic Planning. Members of the Cabinet continue to work on the plan’s metrics.
