Dr. John McDonald Jr., associate professor of environmental science, is blogging about his travels this fall while on sabbatical. He explains, “Part of my plan is to meet with a bunch of people engaged in wildlife conservation issues in this part of the world and bring some of that first hand insight back to my classes. A lot of it will deal with endangered species conservation, energy development, and the human dimensions of wildlife management, as well as interesting bits about the landscape and other wildlife conservation topics.”
