The women’s lacrosse and baseball teams each won their respective MASCAC Tournament Championship, earning an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.
For baseball, it was the team’s first MASCAC title since 2009, while the women’s lacrosse team earned its second consecutive conference championship. The women’s lacrosse team advanced to the NCAA Tournament, where it defeated Morrisville State, 17-12, in the first round. The Owls then fell to defending national champion Gettysburg College to conclude its season with a program-best record of 18-3.
The baseball team will travel to Auburn, NY, to face SUNY-Cortland in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 17 at 1:15 p.m., followed by a second game on May 19 at a to-be-determined time against a to-be-announced opponent in the double-elimination format.
