As the signature program of the Jordan Porco Foundation (JPF), Fresh Check Day helps college campuses promote mental health awareness and wellness in a fun and interactive way. A simultaneous Health Fair featured external organizations including local hospital, mental health and/or wellness centers, rehabilitation agencies, and foundations. Several student organizations also participated in the day’s events.
This year, the event continued into the evening with Fresh Check After Dark, where the Dance Team, Night Owls, and Dance Company performed.
Fresh Check Day is observed at more than 150 college and universities in 37 states.
