Westfield State University served as the event sponsor and host for the Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce St. Patrick’s Day Breakfast on Friday, March 16. Nearly 150 representatives from area businesses and organizations attended the popular event that featured ample networking, a buffet breakfast, bagpipe entertainment and a speaking panel, including Westfield State President Ramon S. Torrecilha, Ph.D.
Other guests of note included keynote speaker and new Executive Director of the Irish Cultural Center of Western New England Bo Sullivan; City of Westfield Mayor Brian Sullivan; State Sen. Donald F. Humason Jr. ’89 (R-Westfield); and State Rep. John C. Velis (D-Westfield). Also present for the festivities were Mackenzie Rogers, the 2018 Westfield Colleen, as well as the 2018 Colleon Court and the Sons of Erin 2018 Irishman, Irishwoman, and Parade Marshall.
