The Teacher Education Council (TEC) has primary responsibility for both full-time and part-time teacher education and other school personnel programs. Membership in TEC includes 13 program coordinators for each of the day licensure programs, the Department of Education liaison ( Dean of Education), the Certification Officer and the Director of DGCE Programs. The Graduate Education Council (GEC) is a standing sub committee formed by the TEC to review and monitor masters graduate programs. Program coordinators for graduate programs for teachers or other school personnel are members of GEC.
