THAT'S CORRECT!

Connecticut is known as the Constitution State.

It was officially given this nickname in 1959 because ideas for writing the Constitution of the United States were believed to be drawn from the first constitution of Connecticut, called "The Fundamental Orders" of 1638-1639.  Connecticut is also known as The Nutmeg State.
