Kippur is one of the most celebrated holidays in this culture. It is
also known as the day of atonement. There is a 24 hour period of
fasting along with intensive prayer. During this time, the people of
this culture try to amend their behavior and seek forgiveness for doing
any wrong against their God. It is celebrated on the tenth day of the
month of Tishrei.
