The Bengal Bamboo likes temperatures between 40 and 100 degress. It can grow anywhere from 40 to 80 feet tall. Since bamboo can grow so tall it is a type of grass, not a shurb nor a tree. It two to three months it is fully grown, and ready to shed its leaves.
