Frogs tend to lay their eggs in masses and in calm waters. The frog eggs do not have shells.
They are protected by a jelly-like substance so they are not eaten by other creatures in the water.
There are many hazards that face the frog between the time of its fertilization and its full grown frog life.
The eggs usually hatch within 6-21 days (on average) after being fertilized.
