Faneuil
Hall has been a marketplace and meeting hall since 1742. Many famous
speeches have taken place here by Samuel Adams, James Otis, and many
others. The hall burned down in 1761, but was later rebuilt and
expanded, doubling its height and width. Faneuil Hall is now part of a
larger festival marketplace, including North Market, Quincy Market, and
South Market. To find out more about Faneuil Hall click here. |
