Who am I?
I
love to eat and can spend up to 20 hours consuming about 75 pounds of
food in one day. I like to eat mainly leaves and my tounge helps
me reach the leaves as it extends out to about 18 inches. I am
also one of the tallest animals at my home in the Bronx Zoo where I can
range from 14 feet tall to as tall as 17 feet. I can also weight
anywhere from 1,200 pounds to 4,250 pounds! I like living in a dry
savannah or grasslands usually in Africa.
