Coccyx





The Coccyx is located at the bottom of the spine, and is sometimes refered to as the tail bone.  It is the final segment of the Human Vertebral Column and it is located right below the sacrum.  It is attatched to the sacrum by a fibrocartilaginous joint called the Sacrococcygeal Symphasis.  This joint allows movement of between the coccyx and the sacrum.
