Welcome to Spain!
Feliz Navidad
In
Spain, Christmas is a largely celebrated holiday. Everyone attends
midnight Mass on Christmas Eve, or la Noche Buena, and after, dinner is
served while the streets fill with dancing and joyous people. The dance
Spanish people usually perform is called the Jota. Presents are
exchanged during this fun time. The children must wait until the night
of January 6th to for the Wise Men bring their presents, because there
is no Santa Claus in Spain.
